Ao Luk - Places Of Interest

Than Bokkhorani National Park

Covering over 5 sq.km, the central point of the park is the Bokkhorani Pool. At one side of the pool is the Buddha footprint close to a small temple.

Hong Island

A collection of small islands and caves with the biggest being Ko Hong. Great spot for diving, snorkelling and fishing as the crystal clear waters are at varying depths. Boats leave for Hong Island from Ao Nang Beach.


Tham Rod Nua & Tham Rod Tai Caves

Tham Lod Nua - Beautiful U-shaped cave with great walk through access.
Tham Lod Tai - Long tunnel with impressive stalactites and stalagmites at the entrance. Reachable by boat.

Sua Noi Cave

This cave is home to a monastery and meditation centre. This site has been an archiologists dream over recent years as numerous artifacts hav ebeen found in the area.

Tham Pi Hua To Cave

Legend has it that this cave is haunted by a ghost with a large skull...! The cave walls are decorated with prehistoric pictures of animals and various shells can be found all over the area.
